RF (mmWave) Test engineer (w/m/d) | work load: 80 – 100 %

AnaPico is an innovative, fast growing technology leader with about 50 employees, developing, manufacturing, and supplying RF and microwave test and measurement instruments for a wide range of civil and governmental applications. The company has been heavily investing in R&D and is dedicated to creating and continuously improving its innovative and cost-efficient Test & Measurement solutions that have best-in-class performance and unique features. With our move towards higher frequency instruments (60+ GHz) we are seeking an experienced RF Test engineer for our Calibration and Testing team.

In this role, you will design test strategies, support the development of test scripts and functions for our Automated Test Environment and define validation documentation for our RF products. You will also help validate the performance of our prototypes and ensure the specifications are met.

You will

  • Design Test Concepts / Strategies for our RF products and ensure traceability and accuracy of results.
  • Develop test scripts and functions for our Test Bench.
  • Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting together with RF designers.
  • Integrate and operate test instrumentation: spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal source analyzers, etc.
  • Support customer demos.
  • Support engineers with the testing of prototypes.

Key Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering field.
  • 3+ years of RF testing experience.
  • Experience writing scripts with Matlab or python, knowledge of c++/c# or similar is beneficial.
  • Experience in characterizing RF products.
  • Experience in presenting and documenting test results systematically.
  • Experience in the design of Test concepts.
  • English and German fluently.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key RF components such as OCXO, VCO, DDS, filters, DAC, ADC, ALC.
  • Rohde & Schwarz and Keysight instrumentation experience (Automated Test Equipment).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and team oriented.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented in work and value quality.
  • Experience in customer support / communication with customers is  beneficial.
  • Skilled at delivering and receiving constructive feedback.
